Today we’re celebrating 45 years in business! Since first opening our doors in 1974, we’ve grown from a small family operation to having more than 80 permanent staff. We are privileged to work with some of the country’s blue chip clients. Today, we specialise in commercial and industrial electrical and communications projects from Tasmania to Darwin, holding service and construction contracts with some of Australia’s largest infrastructure and resources companies. We are one of the oldest family owned and operated electrical contracting business in Queensland.
Key milestones in our 45-year journey:
1974 – Bob & Pat Arnold start Arnold Electrical Contracting Business
1983 – New premises built in Lucy St, Moorooka
1992 – Name change to Arnold Electrical and Data Installations (AEDI) to coincide with service expansion
2000 – Tony Arnold takes over as Managing Director
2008 – AEDI launches specialist industrial division
2013 – AEDI moves to new, larger headquarters in Jaybel St, Salisbury
2013 – AEDI launches specialise air condition division
2013 – AEDI rebrands as Arnold
2014 – Arnold Launches Arnold Switchboards
2019 – Arnold Celebrates 45 Years of service.
